Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic music composer, performer and singer. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B for a distinctive mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, the artist has worked all over the world. Sunshine was born Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta however, she comes from Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing and playing the piano in churches. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on the Atlanta's R&B music scene. The Fighting Temptations The single featuring her voice, Stalk You an House, was released only in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and it's a major part in her live performance. She has also contributed her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. The band was hired as the sole keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy and Tony Award winning vocalist who has worked on stage production Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007 was approached to become the leader of the choral group for the production. Sunshine earned national fame for her daily shows in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She got invited to perform during the President's 2009 inauguration.
