Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing acting when she began her studies at Stanford University. Her early critical successes included performances in films like Pleasantville and Election however it was her performance as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a significant turning point for her career. Witherspoon went on to win an Academy Award in 2005 for her performance on Walk the Line. Water for Elephants This Means War was among the most recent films she was a part of. The film also earned her another Oscar nomination. Witherspoon was also an accomplished TV producer and a star on David E. Kelley's award winning TV show Big Little Lies. The year 2003 was the year she made The Invisible Man was her first feature film. She then appeared in several TV shows, including House of Lies Whitney, Better Call Saul and The Invisible Man. In addition to her acting profession her appearances in movies such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. In addition to her work as an actress, Sheila is also a talented artist who has shown her paintings in many gallery.
