Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing acting when she began her studies at Stanford University. Her early critical successes included performances in films like Pleasantville and Election however it was her performance as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a significant turning point for her career. In addition to her acting profession her appearances in movies such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
